Last Nov. 25, 2012 I flew to Baguio for the two- straight convention; one is for the PACSA and the other one is for the PART- Inc. annual convention. I was excited to see the summer capital of the Philippines for the second time around. Way back 2010 when I was a student then, I've visited Baguio for the same reason. The first experience was full of excitement with an idea that Baguio is one of a kind. It was really amazing to see the place when what you've had before was only a picture. I came to believe that pine trees exist and the temperature is completely different. Strawberry awed me for it was real "manol na kung manol" but it was a jaw- dropping experience to see that some things really are true.

One remarkable thing happened this time is the foodplace named 50's diner. Wagas kung wagas maka serve ang restaurant. It was the heaviest breakfast in town I believe, it was picturesque of classic american resto and the ambiance of Hollywood was vividly evident in the place. Nevertheless I have enjoyed the experience, the travel, the company of my students and the whole vacation as I call it because it was a long- week official leave for me.
Looking forward for more years for Baguio experience. Thanks Riverside College though.
